The highly anticipated action RPG *Lost Soul Aside* has officially been delayed by three months, moving its release date from May 30 to August 29, 2025. The news comes directly from developer Ultizero Games, who confirmed the delay in a recent statement.

After nearly a decade in development, the game was originally set to launch next month as a single-player action title exclusive to PC and PlayStation 5. However, the team at Ultizero Games has decided to extend the development timeline to ensure the game meets their high-quality standards and offers players the best possible experience.

"We are truly grateful for the positive response we've received from players all over the world since we announced Lost Soul Aside," the studio stated.

"We remain committed to delivering a high-quality game experience. To match the standards Ultizero Games have set for ourselves, we are going to take some additional time to polish the game. *Lost Soul Aside* will now release on August 29, 2025. We want to express our heartfelt thanks to our fans waiting for the launch."

What began as a solo passion project by developer Yang Bing has now evolved into a full-fledged AAA title under Sony’s China Hero Project. Bing is now the founder and CEO of Ultizero Games, a Shanghai-based studio formed around the development of this ambitious project.

PlayRecently, IGN had the opportunity to sit down with Yang Bing to discuss the long journey behind *Lost Soul Aside*. From its humble beginnings as a one-man project to a major trailer reveal during Sony's State of Play, the game has built up significant hype over the years. Ever since Bing's initial gameplay reveal went viral back in 2016, expectations have only continued to rise.

Described by many as a fusion of *Final Fantasy*-style character design and *Devil May Cry*-inspired combat mechanics, *Lost Soul Aside* promises fast-paced, stylish action with a strong emphasis on aerial dodging, precise timing, combo execution, and counterattacks. The game also features massive boss battles and an expansive sci-fi narrative that spans multiple dimensions.

Players will control the protagonist Kesar, who wields a dynamic, shape-shifting weapon that allows for flexible playstyles. Accompanying him is Arena, a dragon-like companion capable of summoning powerful abilities to support Kesar throughout his journey.

While the story details remain somewhat mysterious based on early trailers, Yang Bing describes Kesar’s adventure as one centered around “redemption and discovery.” With its unique visual style and deep combat system, *Lost Soul Aside* continues to generate excitement as it heads toward its new August 29, 2025 release date.
