Alphadia III, the latest installment in the acclaimed series, has officially launched today on Android for global audiences. Developed by EXE CREATE and published by KEMCO, this title initially debuted in Japan last October. Set in the year 970 of the Alphadian calendar, the game immerses players in the climactic stages of the Energi War—a monumental struggle over the enigmatic life force known as energi.

The narrative unfolds across a world divided by three dominant powers: the Schwarzschild Empire to the north, the Nordsheim Kingdom to the west, and the Luminea Alliance to the east. As tensions escalate to the brink of collapse, the story pivots around a clone soldier named Alfonso. His journey begins when a girl named Tarte arrives with news of another clone's demise, sparking a profound transformation within him.

What’s the Story in Alphadia III?

Alphadia III transports players to a time of critical conflict over the potent resource of energi. The narrative focuses on the final stages of the Energi War, with the world's fate hanging in the balance. Alfonso, a clone soldier, becomes the central figure when he receives news from Tarte about the death of a fellow clone, setting off a chain of events that reshapes his destiny.

What’s the Gameplay Like?

The gameplay of Alphadia III maintains the series' tradition of turn-based combat viewed from a side perspective, rendered in charming pixel art. Players can utilize SP Skills that accumulate during battles, offering strategic advantages when deployed at the right moment. The game introduces Arrays, which are tactical battle formations that unlock progressively, allowing players to adapt their strategy according to the challenges they face.

A novel feature, the Energi Crock, allows players to convert surplus items into Energi Elements over time. These elements can be exchanged for equipment or other valuable items at in-game shops. Throughout the journey, players will encounter various factions, such as the peacekeeping Deval alliance and the elite Rosenkreutz military unit from Nordsheim, along with different energi clone models like the Berger Series from Nordsheim and the Delta Series from Schwarzschild.

In addition to the main storyline, Alphadia III offers a rich array of side content, and the game is optimized for controller use. It is available on the Google Play Store for $7.99, with a freemium version featuring ads also accessible on Android.
