Spin Rhythm XD Is Coming to Mobile Soon on the Crunchyroll Game Vault

You may know developer Super Spin Digital for titles like Fruit Ninja, Jetpack Joyride, and Steppy Pants. Another one of their popular releases is the rhythm game Spin Rhythm, whose success paved the way for its sequel, Spin Rhythm XD, which launched on PC and consoles in 2024. Now, they’re bringing Spin Rhythm XD to mobile through Crunchyroll.

Technically, this isn’t the first time the rhythm game series has appeared on mobile. Spin Rhythm was previously available on Android and iOS, published under Habby’s label. But in late 2023, the game was removed from mobile stores after their agreement with Habby expired.

To bring its intergalactic rhythm battles to Android, Spin Rhythm XD is partnering with Crunchyroll. The team is targeting a Q4 2025 release. The game will be included in the Crunchyroll Game Vault and accessible only to Crunchyroll Mega and Ultimate subscribers.

In the meantime, the team is rolling out a major content update. On November 11th, the Indie Pack DLC arrives on Steam, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 5|4. This pack adds seven brand-new tracks from indie artists including Mei Semones, Hachiku, and Blanco Tranco.

Spin Rhythm XD features analog-style spinning, flicking, and tapping to energetic EDM tracks. The game offers over 70 playable songs, spanning artists like Camellia, Anamanaguchi, and Moe Shop, as well as other electronic acts such as Nitro Fun, Au5, Hyper Potions, and Pegboard Nerds.

You’ll find five difficulty levels—Easy, Normal, Hard, Expert, and XD mode—with plenty of customization and accessibility options. Unlock wheel and UI skins, adjust playback speed, fine-tune visual effects, and even design or modify your own levels.

Before the game launches on Android, explore its features on Steam or the official website.
