The trailer's closing frames showcase the release date alongside the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S logos, confirming that these consoles will be part of GTA 6's initial rollout. Notably, Trailer 2 was specifically captured on a PS5, not the rumored PS5 Pro.

This announcement has sparked curiosity and speculation about the game's potential release on PC and the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2. While some fans hoped the delay to May 2026 might lead Rockstar and its parent company, Take-Two, to consider a simultaneous PC launch, the absence of any PC mention suggests otherwise. This aligns with Rockstar's historical strategy, yet in the modern gaming landscape of 2025 and 2026, this approach might feel somewhat dated.
