Andor Season 2 Now Streaming: Episode Release Dates Revealed

Author : Amelia May 20,2025

As a prequel to the prequel movie Rogue One, Andor has taken the Star Wars universe by storm, surprising fans with its exceptional quality. The Disney+ series dives deep into the life of Cassian Andor (Diego Luna), tracing his journey from a petty thief to a pivotal revolutionary figure. Despite knowing the ultimate fate of Andor, the series captivates with its intricate storytelling and deeply human narratives, making it what many consider the best live-action Star Wars show to date.

After a wait of two and a half years, Andor is back for its second and concluding season, and it seems the anticipation was justified. In a glowing 9/10 review, Clint Gage notes that Andor Season 2 "builds on nearly everything that worked so well about Season 1, and continues fleshing out the prequel era of Star Wars. Ultimately the tale of the unsung heroes of the rebellion, Andor creates very personal stories at the heart of a much larger struggle."

Andor Season 2 premieres tonight on Disney+, with an unconventional episode release schedule. Here's everything you need to know to catch the action.

Will There Be a Season 3?

Play*Andor Season 2* picks up right after Season 1 and leads directly into the Star Wars prequel film, *Rogue One*. Regrettably, this means Season 2 is the final arc for *Andor*. Given the Star Wars timeline, expect some time skips as we cover the four years following the Season 1 finale.

However, this isn't the end of Star Wars. More live-action movies are in the pipeline, including one directed by Shawn Levy and starring Ryan Gosling. There are also whispers of a Star Wars horror project from Andor's showrunner, Tony Gilroy.

On the gaming front, numerous Star Wars titles are in development, including Bit Company's new tactical game, Star Wars Zero Company. Look out for more announcements this Star Wars Day on May 4.
