How to Play Callbreak:
Callbreak is typically enjoyed by four players using a standard 52-card deck. The card ranks from highest to lowest are A-K-Q-J-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2 in each suit. The game can be played over 3 or 5 rounds. To determine the first dealer, each player draws a card, and the one with the lowest card shuffles and deals the first round clockwise. The player to the dealer's right starts the first trick.
Any card can be led, and the other players must follow suit. If a player can't follow suit, they must play a spade if it's higher than any spades already played. Our offline version introduces a thrilling Saga trip, allowing you to adventure through various levels and create your own legendary Callbreak journey.
How to Win a Callbreak Game:
The trick is won by the player who plays the highest card of the suit led, or by the highest spade if spades are played. To win, a player must meet or exceed the number of tricks they called. Successfully doing so adds the called number to their score, with any extra tricks adding 0.1 points each. Failing to meet the call results in the called number being subtracted from the score.
A round must be re-dealt if any player doesn't receive a spade or any face card (J, Q, K, A) in their hand.
Callbreak Game Popularity:
Callbreak is immensely popular in countries such as Nepal, Bangladesh, Qatar, Kuwait, Sri Lanka, and India. In North America, it's known as "Spades," though it differs in game length, scoring, and the call system. While Callbreak has a fixed number of rounds, Spades is played to a predetermined score.
