The Open League offers an immersive football (soccer) manager simulation experience with deep integration into the Discord platform. Our game brings the excitement of managing your own football club right to your fingertips, with a range of features designed to enhance your strategic gameplay.

Every night, full 90-minute football matches are simulated, and you can follow the action live through play-by-play updates streamed directly in our Discord server. This real-time engagement keeps you at the heart of every game, ensuring you never miss a moment of the action.

You'll manage your football team within servers comprising 30 teams, organized into three distinct leagues. The competitive nature of the game means that the top three clubs are promoted to a higher league, while the bottom three face relegation. Each season spans three weeks, offering a fast-paced yet strategic experience.

The off-season is just as crucial, as it's your chance to attend youth camps in pursuit of the next football legend. These camps, held over a weekend, are where you'll use scouting reports to make informed decisions on which young talents to bid on. Many of the most successful team dynasties in The Open League have been built on the back of stellar youth camp campaigns.

Additionally, football managers can organize friendly matches and even full-scale tournaments during the off-season, providing opportunities to test your team's mettle against other managers. These matches can help refine your strategies and team dynamics.

As seasons progress, your players will develop and potentially decay, making squad management a vital aspect of creating a successful team. Your ability to nurture and strategically manage your players will be key to your long-term success.

Transfers in The Open League are uniquely interactive, with negotiations taking place directly with other human football managers via Discord. Once terms are agreed upon, deals are formalized using the TOL application. Those who excel in negotiation and deal-making can truly thrive in our game.

To assist you in managing your team, The Open League employs friendly bots within Discord. For instance, you can directly message your assistant, Chris, to send out press releases about your latest victories, keeping your club in the spotlight.

The Open League is designed to accommodate players from multiple time zones, with matches scheduled at 7:00pm PST, EST, and GMT, ensuring everyone can participate at a convenient time.
