If today's new details don't get you excited for the Pokemon GO Road Trip 2025, nothing will. This follows closely after the recently announced Ancients Recovered Go Pass, meaning Pokemon Go fans have plenty to anticipate.

In addition to the real-world tour across seven European cities, you'll also find Pokémon GO Road Trip Truck stops in the AR game—with summer-themed Pikachu featured in one-star Raids. Catching it gives you a shot at earning a Location Background from that city, making it well worth the effort.

The road trip event also includes wild Pokemon encounters such as Wooloo, Phanpy, and Alolan Geodude. Better yet, increased Shiny rates improve your odds throughout the event, along with extra gyms and PokéStops.

Keep an eye out for stray Poké Balls on the map—tap them for a surprise meeting with Voltorb, Electrode, Foongus, or Galarian Stunfisk! As for the summer-style Pikachu, complete event-themed tasks for a chance at that sought-after encounter.

Throughout the event, enjoy bonuses like Confetti and 3-hour Lures, plus a 50% Stardust discount on trades. You can make up to five special trades per day, and there's even a special evolution bonus for Alolan Graveler—it might evolve into Alolan Golem with Rollout.
