In the most distant reaches of the world, magic still exists, embodied by the spirits of the land, sky, and every natural element. As European colonial powers extend their reach, they inevitably encounter a place where these spirits hold sway. Here, the land itself fights back, standing alongside the native islanders against the encroaching settlers.

Spirit Island is a cooperative settler-destruction strategy game designed by R. Eric Reuss, set in an alternate-history world around A.D. 1700. Players take on the roles of different Spirits of the land, each with unique elemental powers, tasked with defending their island home from colonizing Invaders who spread blight and destruction. Your Spirits collaborate with the native Dahan to amplify your power and drive the invaders away in this strategic area-control game.
