• Full screen gestures on the Home screen: Enhance your navigation experience by hiding the bottom Navigation buttons and using intuitive gestures to switch between apps effortlessly. Enjoy an expansive Home screen like never before.
• Lock the Home screen layout: After arranging your app icons, you can lock the layout to prevent accidental changes. Navigate to Home screen settings and enable Lock Home screen layout to keep your organization intact.
• Quick access to App info and Widget settings: Simply touch and hold an app icon or widget to access the relevant settings screen instantly, saving you time and hassle.

※ Please note, these features are available on devices running Android 9.0 Pie or later versions. The availability of features may vary based on your device model and operating system version.

App permissions

To ensure a smooth experience with One UI Home, the following permissions are necessary:

• Required permissions: None
• Optional permissions:
  • Storage: Allows the restoration of your home screen layout data.
  • Contacts: Enables the restoration of contact widget information.

If your device is running a version of Android lower than 6.0, we recommend updating your software to manage app permissions effectively. After updating, you can reset previously allowed permissions via the Apps menu in your device settings.
