In Monster Hunter Wilds, you'll encounter 12 secret achievements. Seven of these are naturally unlocked as you progress through the main story. The other five, however, require you to complete specific optional objectives, detailed below:

I Caught a Shooting Star!

To catch this elusive creature, head to Zone 11 of the Windward Plains at night. Equip yourself with screamer pods and keep an eye out for a Baunos flying near the gathering spots. Use the screamer pods to stun it, then swiftly catch it with your Capture Net.

A Prize Held High

You can achieve this in various maps by searching for tight corners and dead ends. Specifically, go to Zone 6 of the Scarlet Forest and find the small puddle of water. Use your Capture Net to catch the small golden crab lurking there. Keep an ear out for Alma, who may comment on creatures carrying valuable items like the Ancient Wyvern Coin.

A Legacy Restored

Once you're into High Rank missions, focus on crafting Artian gear. To get your hands on Rarity 8 weapons and materials, you'll need to hunt Tempered monsters while equipped with Rarity 7 gear.

Seasoned Hunter
