At Star Wars Celebration, fans were thrilled to learn that Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 is set to launch on October 29, 2025. Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 will consist of nine short films, each crafted by a different Japanese anime studio, including Studio Trigger (known for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners), WIT Studio (behind Attack on Titan), David Production, Kamikaze Douga, ANIMA, Kinema citrus Co., Polygon Pictures, Production I.G., and Project Studio Q. This diverse group of studios promises a rich tapestry of storytelling and animation styles.

It was also revealed that three episodes in Volume 3 will continue storylines from previous volumes. These include The Duel by Kamikaze Douga, The Village Bride by Kinema citrus Co., and The Ninth Jedi by Production I.G. This continuity will delight fans who have followed these narratives.

Kenji Kamiyama, the writer and director of The Ninth Jedi, made an appearance at Star Wars Celebration to discuss the upcoming spin-off series. This new series will explore longer stories within the Star Wars: Visions universe, with a particular focus on continuing Kara's journey from The Ninth Jedi.
