What else should you know about Dragon Quest Smash/Grow?

Dragon Quest Smash/Grow takes a fresh direction compared to the series' traditional turn-based combat. Instead of slow, tactical encounters, you'll slash through waves of enemies, steadily growing stronger.

The game retains the franchise’s signature Coup de Grâce abilities. Each run offers a unique experience, thanks to randomly selected Blessings that alter character progression and battle tactics.

The Dragon Quest series first launched in 1986, created by Yuji Horii. It reached North American audiences in 1989 as Dragon Warrior. Since then, the franchise has expanded to include 11 mainline games, numerous spin-offs, manga, novels, films, and anime.
