This year, the competition is upping the ante with a new team-based format, iconic tennis captains, and an impressive €5,000 prize pool up for grabs.

Returning sponsors Renault and Mastercard are bringing more excitement to the game. Players can now deck out their characters in the official Roland-Garros 2025 outfits and wield the exclusive Renault 5 Roland-Garros string.

When Does It Start?

The Roland-Garros eSeries kicks off in March with open qualifiers, your first chance to secure a spot in the finals. The qualifiers are scheduled in three stages from March 6-11, March 20-25, and April 3-8, which will filter out the elite contenders.

Top female players from the first two qualifiers will join the overall winners in the finals. The ultimate showdown will take place at the Roland-Garros Tenniseum Auditorium on May 24th, in front of a live audience. Fans can also catch all the action live on Twitch.

What’s New This Year?

The Roland-Garros eSeries 2025 introduces an exciting team-based format, shifting from individual to team play. Each team will be led by a legendary figure in French tennis. One confirmed captain is Gilles Simon, a former ATP world No. 6 and Davis Cup champion. Simon, who has been involved with the eSeries as a commentator since 2023 and played in the Top 8 in 2024, will coach one of the squads. The identity of his rival captain remains a mystery, but organizers have hinted that it's a Grand Slam winner.

Defending champion Alessandro ΔLEX Bianco is set to return, joined by the two Grand Tour finalists. With 548,000 participants from 215 territories last year, the competition is expected to be fiercer than ever.
