Launches in Japan in June 2025

The Pokémon Company, in partnership with the esteemed Japanese publisher Shogakukan, is set to unveil an official encyclopedia dedicated to the behaviors and ecology of Pokémon. Shogakukan revealed on their website on April 21 that Pokécology will hit the shelves in Japan on June 18, 2025.

Pre-orders for this eagerly awaited book are now open across Japanese bookstores. Priced at 1,430 yen (tax included), as stated by Shogakukan, the book promises to be an essential addition to any Pokémon fan's collection. While there hasn't been an official announcement regarding an international release, given the global popularity of Pokémon, fans can anticipate an English edition to be announced soon.
