Pedro Pascal Slams JK Rowling as 'Heinous Loser' Over Trans Comments

Pedro Pascal, known for his roles in popular series like The Last of Us, The Mandalorian, and The Fantastic Four: First Steps, has publicly criticized Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling for her stance against the transgender community. This response came after Rowling celebrated a UK Supreme Court decision that defines "woman" strictly as "a biological woman and biological sex" for the purposes of equality legislation, effectively excluding transgender women from certain protections under the Equality Act.

Rowling's celebration of the ruling was marked by a social media post on Twitter/X, where she shared a photo of herself smoking a cigar and drinking by the ocean, captioning it with, "I love it when a plan comes together." This was a reference to her financial support of For Scotland Women, the organization behind the lawsuit.

The controversy escalated when writer and activist Tariq Raouf posted a video criticizing Rowling's actions, describing them as "serious Voldemort villain sht." In response to Raouf's video, Pascal commented, "Awful disgusting SHT is exactly right. Heinous LOSER behavior."

Pascal's advocacy for transgender rights is not new. He has previously expressed his views strongly on social media, stating, "I can’t think of anything more vile and small and pathetic than terrorizing the smallest, most vulnerable community of people who want nothing from you, except the right to exist." This statement was accompanied by a photo of a sign proclaiming, "A world without trans people has never existed and never will." Additionally, Pascal showed his support by wearing a shirt emblazoned with "Protect the dolls" at the premiere of Thunderbolts in London, a phrase used within the LGBTQIA+ community to refer to trans women.

His personal connection to the issue is evident through his support for his sister, Lux Pascal, who came out as a transgender woman in 2021. Pascal celebrated her announcement with the heartfelt message, "Mi hermana, mi corazón, nuestra Lux," translating to "My sister, my heart, our Lux."

Pascal's vocal stance against Rowling and in support of transgender rights highlights his commitment to advocating for the marginalized communities, making a significant impact both personally and publicly.
