Neowiz has already confirmed a sequel to Lies of P, leading to speculation that the mysterious cutscene might be linked to Lies of P 2. However, details about the sequel remain scarce, and Choi remained tight-lipped about any hints during our conversation.

Choi emphasized Neowiz's commitment to quality, stating, “What I can certainly tell you is when we share such news or media and assets with you, you'll know for sure that we are ready to present it to you. And that follows very our strict focus on quality [amid] all the pressure that we talked about in the past. So that is the one promise that I can share with you, that when we actually share those contents with you and the news, we will be ready to share that with you.”

PlayThe scene in question, known as the Dorothy scene, has been a focal point of fan theories. As detailed [here](https://www.ign.com/articles/lies-of-p-dorothy-scene-explained), the final cutscene features Paracelcus on a phone call, mentioning, “find her, for sure. Another key of ours: Dorothy.” The scene then reveals Dorothy’s iconic striped sock legs and ruby slippers from *The Wizard of Oz*, suggesting that future *Lies of P* content might intertwine with other public domain fairy tales. However, Choi confirmed that this plot point won’t be addressed in *Overture*.

SPOILERS END HERE.

PlayWhile the Dorothy scene remains unexplained, Choi did offer some insights into what *Overture* will bring. He encouraged fans to replay the base game, noting, “When you play through the base game again, you'll see many hints that we scattered throughout the whole experience. A lot of hints and a lot of windows into the world, and you'll be able to actually see that and experience that in the expansion…There are many things that I actually wanted to accomplish when we were working on the base game. It didn't get put into the base game, and all of that, at least key elements of that are going to be included in the expansion.”

Choi also acknowledged the keen observations of some fans, mentioning that he regularly reads fan theories and finds that "some of them are quite close." He further revealed that Overture is expected to take experienced players around 15-20 hours to complete and will be accessible once players reach a "certain" chapter of the game, remaining available until the end. Announced as a prequel, Overture will transport the main character back in time to Krat just before its fall, featuring new locations, enemies, bosses, characters, and weapons. Choi kept the details under wraps, ensuring a surprise for fans upon release.
