The ESRB rating for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater (MGS Delta) has brought some exciting news for fans of the series. The game has been rated M for Mature, and the rating summary confirms the return of the Peep Demo Theater, a feature originally introduced in Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater’s Subsistence and HD Collection versions. This feature allows players to view all the game’s cutscenes featuring the female spy EVA, but with a twist: she appears in her underwear. Players can manipulate the camera freely, including zooming in on any part of her body. To unlock this, you need to collect all other cutscenes in the Demo Theater, which involves completing the game four times.

While the M rating aligns with the game's themes of violence and gore as players navigate enemy lines as an elite soldier, the return of the Peep Demo Theater, often dubbed "Creepy mode," has sparked surprise among fans due to its controversial nature.

Faster Camouflage System

Another significant update to MGS Delta is the streamlined camouflage system. A recent Twitter (X) post from METAL GEAR OFFICIAL on March 28 showcased a video demonstrating the new, quicker way to change camouflage. The caption read, "Change camouflage for faces, uniforms, and more on the fly with this new feature in METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER."

The video reveals that players can now switch their camouflage in under three seconds, a vast improvement over the original MGS3, where changing camouflage involved pausing the game, navigating menus, and selecting from the Camo section. This often disrupted the game's pacing, particularly during stealth sections, and reduced the immersive experience.

As the release date of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater approaches on August 26, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, fans are eagerly anticipating the return of classic features along with these quality-of-life enhancements that promise to elevate their gameplay experience.
