Today's showcase highlights several unique mechanics in the set, including Summons - Magic's debut Saga creatures that players can summon for battlefield assistance (exemplified by Summon: Shiva in the gallery). Double-faced cards also return, as demonstrated by Cecil's dual forms: Dark Knight and Redeemed Paladin.

The complete Final Fantasy set will boast over 100 legendary creatures, featuring 55 borderless legendaries with artwork from beloved Final Fantasy franchise artists throughout the series' history.

Releasing as a fully draftable Standard-legal set on June 13, the Final Fantasy expansion will launch alongside four preconstructed Commander decks - each themed after classic Final Fantasy titles: VI, VII, X, and XIV. Every 100-card deck combines new Final Fantasy-inspired cards with existing Magic cards reimagined through Final Fantasy artwork.
