RTX 2060 as Its Minimum Graphics Requirement

inZOI's developer, Krafton, has made it clear that the game demands higher system specs to deliver the best gaming experience. On March 12, 2025, they shared the system requirements and optimal settings on their website, categorizing them into four tiers: Minimum, Medium, Recommended, and High, each with its optimal settings.

At the minimum level, inZOI requires an NVIDIA RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 5600 for graphics, coupled with a CPU like Intel i5 or AMD Ryzen 5. This is a significant jump compared to the system requirements of EA's Sims 4, which only needs an NVIDIA GeForce 6600 or higher. Krafton explained, "inZOI delivers high-quality graphics and realistic city-level simulations, which necessitate higher system specifications to run smoothly."

For recommended settings, the game steps up the requirements to an NVIDIA RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 for graphics, and a CPU of Intel i7 or AMD Ryzen 7. The highest settings demand even more, requiring a graphics card like the NVIDIA RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900, alongside a CPU such as Intel i7 14700K or AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D.

This isn't surprising, given the impressive visuals showcased in the game's trailers, which push the limits of Unreal Engine 5. Although developers have discussed plans for a PS5 and Xbox release on inZOI’s official Discord, the game's heavy system requirements suggest a need for optimization to ensure a smooth console experience.

Graphics Comparison by System Specs

Krafton has released a video comparing the graphics across the different system specs they've outlined. The video clearly shows variations in lighting, textures, color, and more, with the highest PC specs delivering the most stunning visual experience.

Despite offering these options, inZOI's high base system requirements might initially limit its player base compared to competitors like the Sims 4. However, Krafton is committed to broadening access, stating, "While these requirements ensure the best possible gameplay experience, we remain dedicated to making inZOI accessible to more players." They plan to implement a feature that automatically adjusts game settings for optimal performance and are continuously working on optimizations to improve performance without sacrificing quality.
