Hyde Run: Global Release of High-Speed Endless Runner Game!

If you're a fan of Japanese music, you're no stranger to HYDE, the iconic musician who has graced stages like Madison Square Garden and sold over 40 million records. Now, HYDE steps into the digital realm as the star of a new endless runner game, Hyde Run, which has just launched globally. Initially released in Japan, the game is now accessible to fans worldwide, thanks to developer and publisher Phoenixx. This game offers a unique way for global fans to engage with HYDE's music through a gameplay experience filled with nods to his illustrious career.
Move, Jump, or Slide in Hyde Run
In Hyde Run, you'll navigate HYDE through a thrilling parkour adventure set across a concert stage and a futuristic vision of Tokyo. As you play, you'll dash through Neo Tokyo, skillfully dodging obstacles, executing wall-runs past vibrant billboards, and collecting musical notes. The game's atmosphere is infused with a distinctive neon-and-noise aesthetic, setting it apart from typical endless runners by incorporating the energetic vibe of a guitar solo and HYDE-specific fan service.
Throughout your runs, you can pick up various power-ups, such as magnets that attract notes to you or barriers that shield you from damage. Before embarking on each run, you can choose items to enhance your performance. Activate a Note Gain to amass more notes or opt for a Barrier to avoid tripping over obstacles. Additionally, collecting crystals allows you to unlock exclusive outfits and room items inspired by HYDE's career. You can also unlock voice clips from HYDE himself by acquiring the Microphone Stand.
There’s More Stuff in the Game to Do
Beyond the high-speed action, Hyde Run allows you to customize HYDE's room with memorabilia spanning his 20-year career, from tour gear to hidden items that unlock special messages and voice notes from HYDE. Until June 10th, 2025, players can enjoy limited-time content, including the THE LAST ROCKSTARS Costume Set, which outfits HYDE in his iconic look from the music video, complete with matching ROCK Furniture like leopard prints, vintage trunks, and stage spotlights.
For a more relaxed experience, there's the Bat Jinbei Costume Set, inspired by summer festivals. For those seeking a traditional touch, a Japanese-style furniture set is available, featuring bamboo, bonboris, and a wind chime modeled after HYDE's Edyh character.
