Hades 2 Set for Exclusive Release on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2
Hades 2 is set to launch on both the Nintendo Switch and the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 as a timed console exclusive. While an exact release date has not been disclosed, developer Supergiant has confirmed that the much-anticipated sequel will be available on PC, as well as the original and new Nintendo Switch consoles, simultaneously later this year.
Following the announcement during last week's Nintendo Direct, Supergiant Games has clarified that Hades 2 will not only be available on both Switch versions but will also enjoy a period of exclusivity on Nintendo's platforms. The team took to X/Twitter to state, "Hades II v1.0 will launch simultaneously on our Early Access platforms (Steam and Epic Games Store), Nintendo Switch 2, and the original Nintendo Switch."

Details on when Hades 2 might be available on other consoles like the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S remain undisclosed.
Hades 2 follows up on the success of Supergiant's original game, blending captivating storytelling with roguelite action in a dungeon-crawling adventure. In IGN's Hades 2 early-access review, the game was praised for its expansive scope and polish, earning a 9/10 rating. The review highlighted, "Hades 2 feels impossibly huge and unbelievably polished by any standard, much less an early access game. Mel is awesome, the new tweaks to the combat and progression are excellent, and it's just unbelievably feature packed with twice the content of the first. What’s here right out of the gate is astounding, and the thought of more coming on the way is a tantalizing treat."
