Pokémon Center Hiroshima is set to close its doors at the end of March and will reopen at a new location in April 2025. The store, originally established in June 2015 on the 6th floor of Sogo Hiroshima’s Main Building, will move to the second floor of Ekie, the north exit of Hiroshima Station. This new spot promises an exciting continuation of Pokémon fun and shopping.

Introducing Gyarados Plaza: A New Playground Experience

In a thrilling addition, the "Gyarados Plaza by Pokémon Center Hiroshima" will launch on March 24, 2025, at Soramoa Plaza’s rooftop on the new Hiroshima Station building, Minamoa. This special plaza is designed to be an engaging space where visitors of all ages can enjoy Pokémon-themed activities. It features large play equipment inspired by Gyarados, the emblematic Pokémon of the Hiroshima center. For a limited time following its opening, reservations will be required to use the playground facilities. More information will be available on the official Minamoa website.

Pokémon Center Hiroshima welcomes visitors daily from 10:00 am to 7:30 pm, making it an ideal stop for anyone visiting the area.

Celebrate Poke-lun TV's Milestone with a Nationwide Event

Before its temporary closure, Pokémon Center Hiroshima, along with other Pokémon Centers across Japan, will celebrate Poke-lun TV reaching over 1 million subscribers. From January 17, 2025, to February 16, 2025, fans can participate in this nationwide event. To get an exclusive original sticker, visit any participating store and provide the password found in the Poke-lun TV YouTube video posted on December 19, 2024.

Additionally, Pokémon Center Mega Tokyo, Osaka, and Okinawa will feature photo spots styled after the Poke-lun TV studio, where fans can snap photos with the channel's iconic hosts such as Takkun, Tokichan, Ha-chan, Tai-chan, and Riri-chan. Please note that this event is exclusive to Pokémon Centers and does not include Pokémon Store, Pokémon Center Online, Pokémon Cafe, or Pikachu Sweets by Pokémon Cafe.
