Developer Dream Dock has unveiled their latest project, Dreadmoor, an exciting first-person single-player action-adventure game drawing inspiration from the acclaimed 2023 hit, Dredge. In Dreadmoor, players will take command of a fishing trawler to navigate the post-apocalyptic world of the Drownlands, where continents have been swallowed by the sea due to a global nuclear war. The game promises a rich experience of fishing, exploration, combat against monstrous beings, crafting essential items, upgrading your vessel, and uncovering the enigmatic secrets that lurk beneath the waves. Dreadmoor is currently in development for PC, and you can catch a glimpse of what's to come by watching the announcement trailer and browsing through the first screenshots in the gallery below.

Dream Dock paints a vivid picture of Dreadmoor: "Take the helm of a fishing trawler and embark on a journey through a world transformed by nuclear devastation. Navigate through scattered islands and the submerged ruins of ancient civilizations. Engage with survivors by selling your catches and fulfilling quests to advance your survival. Be vigilant about your ship's cargo hold—predatory creatures might feast on your haul! Enhance your ship and craft gear to delve into the hidden depths and uncover secret locales. Face off against mutated monsters and unravel sinister mysteries lurking in the deep and within forsaken structures, particularly as night falls. Radiation poses an ever-present threat in this treacherous environment..."

In Dreadmoor, players will have the opportunity to catch over 100 different species of fish, with the most elusive and challenging catches requiring the most unusual bait but offering the most substantial rewards. The game also involves scavenging for resources and exploring both the surface and the submerged worlds. If Dreadmoor piques your interest, you can add it to your wishlist on Steam.
