Author : Hannah May 01,2025

Digimon enthusiasts have exciting news following the DIGIMON CON 2025 event. Bandai Namco unveiled Digimon Alysion, a new mobile trading card game (TCG) that promises to expand the franchise's reach in the digital space. Inspired by the success of games like Pokémon TCG Pocket and Marvel Snap, Digimon Alysion aims to attract a broader audience by offering a free-to-play experience. Players will be able to collect cards featuring various Digimon and franchise characters, build their decks, and engage in battles with other players. What sets Digimon Alysion apart is its inclusion of a comprehensive story mode, providing players with a narrative-driven experience alongside traditional and competitive gameplay.

The announcement came with a trailer that teased gameplay elements and introduced an all-female cast speculated to be part of the story mode. New characters such as Kanata Hondo, Futre, and Valner Dragnogh, along with a new Digimon called Gemmon, were showcased. Although no specific release date was announced, Bandai Namco mentioned an upcoming closed beta test, with further details to be released later.
