Delta Force Game: Release Date Announced

PC Alpha Went Live on August 6, 2024!

The Delta Force PC Alpha Test kicked off at around Aug 5, 9 p.m. EDT / 6 p.m. PDT. However, the developers announced on August 30 that the Alpha Test would close on September 8, or Sept 7, 8 p.m. EDT / 5 p.m. PDT for the United States.

Fans had multiple avenues to try their luck at joining the Alpha Test:

Additionally, the official Twitter/X account frequently offered Alpha Test codes during special events and milestones.

July 24 Update: New Alpha Test Date Announced

Delta Force unveiled the new date for the postponed Alpha test, set for August 6, 2024. Enthusiasts could secure their spot through various channels including the official website, the official Steam page, or by snagging keys through Twitch drops or giveaways. For instance, a giveaway on their official Twitter/X account saw 100 lucky winners receiving Alpha test codes.

July 16 Update: Alpha Test Postponed

Following the pre-alpha test from July 11 - 15, the developers identified several critical issues that hampered gameplay for the select group of participants. As a result, they had to delay the July Alpha test to focus on enhancing the game, ensuring players would have the best possible experience.

Initially Scheduled Alpha Test

Delta Force had originally planned to launch its Alpha Test on July 18, with no set end date disclosed. Fans could attempt to gain access via the official website by completing player surveys, requesting access on the official Steam page, or tuning into Twitch.tv streams to earn Steam keys through Twitch Drops.

The pre-alpha test, held from July 11 to 15, served as a stress test for the developers, allowing a small group of players early access. By exploring all available options, players might have secured early entry.

The Alpha Test was exclusively for PC, accessible via the game's official client or through Steam. Access to one platform did not guarantee access to the other, as cross-progression was not available during the alpha phase.
