CD Projekt Red Seeks Talent for Project Hadar

Marcin Blacha, the Vice President and Narrative Lead at CD Projekt Red, has highlighted the need for an "exceptional team" to bring Project Hadar to life. This ambitious project calls out to skilled developers to explore open positions and play a part in shaping this innovative game.

Unlike CD Projekt Red's previous successes, The Witcher series, which drew from Andrzej Sapkowski's novels, and Cyberpunk 2077, inspired by a tabletop RPG, Project Hadar ventures into an entirely new universe crafted by CD Projekt. While details about the project are limited—except for the assurance that it won't be a space horror genre—recent developments suggest that the project has moved beyond its initial phase, with roughly twenty team members previously involved.

Currently, the Hadar team is actively seeking to fill various roles, including programmers, VFX experts, technical artists, writers, and mission designers. The description of Project Hadar as a "once-in-a-lifetime chance" by top developers signals a shift from conceptual stages to full-scale production.

CD Projekt Red is not slowing down, managing multiple projects simultaneously. The largest team is dedicated to Project Polaris, marking the beginning of a new Witcher trilogy centered around Ciri. Alongside, two other teams are hard at work on a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 and another game set within The Witcher universe.
