Humans (Known In-Universe as Folk)

Humans, referred to as Folk in Avowed, are the most prevalent race both in the game and in the character creator. As part of the broader Kith group, which includes various sentient and civilized species, Humans offer extensive customization options to cater to a broad player base. In Avowed, you'll find numerous presets, along with detailed character customization tools. These include a variety of facial presets, a skin tone slider, and different hair textures, ensuring players can craft a character that resonates with them.

Elves

Elves are another selectable race in Avowed. They closely resemble humans but are distinguished by slightly different default facial structures and their iconic long, pointed ears.

Godlikes

A third playable race in Avowed is the Godlikes. While all Envoys in the story are Godlike, players can opt to display these unique features or not. Godlikes boast distinctive hair and facial features, ranging from subtle to surreal. At the game's launch, players can choose from 14 different Godlike facial features and four Godlike hair options, which are universally available regardless of the chosen race or body type.
