"Assassin’s Creed Shadows: Global Release Schedule Announced"

Ubisoft has officially announced the global release times for the much-anticipated Assassin’s Creed Shadows. In a departure from the standard practice seen in previous titles within the series and other Ubisoft games, Assassin’s Creed Shadows boasts a singular, synchronized release date across the globe. Notably, there will be no option for early access, ensuring that all players can start their journey at the same time.

For those playing on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S, the game will unlock at 12am local time on March 20. However, PC players should be aware that release times vary depending on the platform. If you're using Steam, your release times will differ from those on Ubisoft's proprietary platform, Ubi Connect. Pre-loading is already available for all platforms, including Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5, and PC.

The stakes are high for Assassin’s Creed Shadows as Ubisoft aims to rebound from recent setbacks. Following delays and the underwhelming sales of last year's Star Wars Outlaws, alongside a series of high-profile flops, layoffs, studio closures, and game cancellations, the success of Assassin’s Creed Shadows is crucial for the company.
