How to Complete All Arata Stages in GHOUL://RE
After extensive testing, we've cracked the code to unlock all three Arata stages in GHOUL://RE. While these stages don't demand high gaming skills or extensive exploration, they do require significant Reputation grinding. And we mean a lot!
Arata Stage 1 in GHOUL://RE
To begin, you need to amass 25,000 Reputation points and reach the rank of Special Investigator within the C.C.G. organization. Head to the Commission of Counter Ghoul (C.C.G. center) and find Damiro D. Mado on the second floor. He'll offer you the Arata Stage 1 quest, which involves collecting 10 one-eyed fragments and 10 Kokuja fragments.

The quickest method to obtain these fragments is by defeating bosses like Eto and Tatara, shown below, and crafting them at the table afterward. To check your Reputation, speak with Saiyo Natsuki, the NPC in a black suit and tie. Once you've gathered all 20 fragments, convert them into five one-eyed Kokuja fragments at the crafting station. If you struggle with bosses, our GHOUL://RE Boss and Raid Guide can help you dominate.

Return to Damiro, who will direct you to speak with "him". This initially caused confusion in the GHOUL://RE community, but "he" is none other than Black Reaper of Doom And Despair, who was hiding in plain sight.
For ease of navigation, here's our guide on all NPC locations in GHOUL://RE.
Arata Stage 2 in GHOUL://RE
For Arata stages 2 and 3, you must switch to permadeath (PD) mode to acquire the legendary armor. It's wise to team up with strong allies, as solo missions can be frustrating.
Once you've accumulated 100,000 Reputation points, take the elevator in the C.C.G. building to the Laboratory. Speak with Black Reaper of Doom And Despair, the man with the scalpel in a black suit by the door.

Hand over five one-eyed Kokuja fragments and your 100,000 Reputation to complete Stage 2 and obtain Arata-Proto armor. There's been much debate about the necessary Reputation, with some suggesting 75,000 or 90,000-100,000, but for guaranteed success, 100,000 Reputation points are required.
Remember, play Arata Stages 2 and 3 on PD servers only. Otherwise, you'll receive a repeated response from the Black Reaper and fail to progress.

The final stage also involves "The Scalpel Guy", more fragments, and a significant amount of cash. Continue in PD mode to pursue the epic armor.
Gather a single one-eyed Kakuja fragment and 500,000 Yen, then revisit Black Reaper of Doom And Despair in the C.C.G. building. After paying, he'll teleport you to face Kishou Arima boss.
To defeat him, you'll need at least average gaming skills, involving jumping, dodging, blocking, and dealing significant damage. While challenging, Kishou Arima is not invincible, and even average players can triumph with practice.

Be prepared for potential deaths during this battle. Bring ample resources, as repeating the fight requires another one-eyed Kakuja fragment and 500,000 Yen per attempt.
Upon defeating Kishou Arima, you'll unlock Stage 3 Arata-Proto armor. However, remember that while Arata offers impressive buffs, it's detrimental to your health, as outlined below.
Arata Armor Tips & Tricks
Arata-Proto Armor Buffs
Arata is a powerful armor, but it drains your hunger rapidly. You cannot eat while wearing it, so you'll need to remove Arata to replenish your hunger.
The benefits, however, are substantial. You can't be ragdolled while wearing Arata, a significant advantage in any scenario.

Arata also enhances your equipment, making you increasingly "tanky" and capable of dealing and sustaining massive damage. If your hunger bar depletes during a fight, Arata will start consuming your health bar. Be cautious during boss fights; you can always remove the armor to heal.
Reputation Grinding
The fastest way to earn the required Reputation is by fighting bosses in PD mode. Although risky, each boss killed in PD mode yields 1,500 Reputation, far more than the 500 outside PD. Killing Ghouls only provides 100 Reputation per kill, making them less ideal for grinding during Arata quests.
Congrats, now you are familiar with all Arata Stages in GHOUL://RE. But, before you start slashing Ghouls, grab our latest GHOUL://RE codes and make an impact right from the start.
