Crafting crank arms to your exact specifications is now easier than ever, whether you're using a leather cutter or a 3D printer. Our tool calculates the dimensions you need and generates an SVG for 2D designs or an STL for 3D models of your crank arm. Once generated, these files can be easily displayed and shared across other applications, making your design process seamless and efficient.
We've taken the guesswork out of balancing your crank arms by automatically calculating the size of the balance weight you'll need. Using the outside diameter of the balance weight, along with the mass on the crank pin side (in grams) and the density of the crank arm material (in grams per cubic centimeter), we determine the perfect size for a balanced weight.
Here are the key parameters you can customize:
- Crankshaft diameter (mm)
- Crank pin diameter (mm)
- Crank arm length (mm)
- Crank arm width (mm)
- Balance weight radius (mm)
- Thickness (mm)
The generated data integrates smoothly with various applications, allowing you to share your designs directly with 3D printers and connected PCs. For a clear size comparison, we include an underlaying square representing a credit card.
