Zenless Zone Zero 2.0 Launch Imminent Next Month

• Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.0, 'Where Clouds Embrace the Dawn,' is launching soon.

I’d make another summer pun, but I think that well is officially dry! (Editor's note: My apologies, dear reader.) Regardless, warmer weather often brings major updates. For Zenless Zone Zero fans, there's plenty to anticipate: not just the first anniversary and Xbox launch, but also the arrival of Version 2.0, 'Where Clouds Embrace the Dawn,' on June 6th.

This update transports you to a completely new district of New Eridu, distinct from the wider city. The Waifei Peninsula introduces new characters and hidden secrets, requiring your Proxies to journey from the main city of Failume Heights to explore the Lemnian Hollow.

With its unique theme, you'll get to manage your own Suibian Temple. This brand-new minigame lets you upgrade facilities and earn in-game rewards by defeating Bangboos, completing commissions, and gathering resources from the Hollows.

Naturally, to help you tackle the new challenges within the Waifei Peninsula, a host of new allies will join your cause. Yixuan, known as the Grandmaster, is an S-rank agent with a unique Adrenaline mechanic that lets her bypass enemy defenses. Six more agents will also be available, including the enormous panda-like Pan Yinhu, ready to lend their unique abilities to your team.

Version 2.0 also introduces significant quality-of-life changes to help you navigate New Eridu. A brand-new 3D map is paired with Fissure Beacons, allowing you to restore HP, revive fallen agents, and jump back into the action more quickly.
