Microsoft's Apology Resolves Enotria Xbox Release Delays
Jyamma Games Expresses Gratitude to Phil Spencer and the Community
Jyamma Games publicly thanked Microsoft, specifically citing Phil Spencer and his team, for their swift response and assistance in resolving the certification process delays. The developer had previously voiced frustration after a two-month silence from Xbox regarding their submission. This silence led to the announcement of an indefinite postponement of the Xbox release.
In a previous Discord message, Jyamma CEO Jacky Greco expressed disappointment, stating that Microsoft seemed unconcerned about Enotria and its players. However, the subsequent apology from Microsoft has changed the tone significantly. Jyamma Games also acknowledged the strong support from their community, crediting their vocal advocacy for bringing the issue to light.
"We are now working closely with Microsoft," Jyamma Games stated, expressing optimism for a timely Xbox release.
Greco further elaborated on the Discord server, revealing Microsoft's apology and commitment to resolving the situation.
This isn't an isolated incident; Funcom recently reported optimization challenges porting Dune: Awakening to the Xbox Series S. While the PS5 and PC versions of Enotria: The Last Song remain on track for a September 19th release, the Xbox release date remains uncertain.
