Still exploring version 2.6? Kuro Games has unveiled Wuthering Waves' next major update - Version 2.7: Dawn Breaks on Dark Tides, coming this October. Revealed in the latest Preview Special Broadcast, this update introduces two fresh Resonators, additional story content, new Echoes, limited-time events, gameplay refinements, and various quality-of-life improvements.

The narrative expands with Chapter II Act X: The Bygone Shall Always Return and Chapter II Act XI: Dawn Breaks on Dark Tides, complemented by the new Afterstory: A Stranger in a Strange Land. These quests advance the overarching plot while introducing the enigmatic new Resonators Galbrena and Qiuyuan, available through separate character banners.

Combat evolves with challenging new Echoes like Nightmare Viridblaze Saurian and Baby Roseshroom variants, alongside the Flamewing's Shadow Sonata set that enhances powerful attack and Echo skill combinations. Perfect timing for Halloween festivities, including the new Tactical Hologram challenge: Lioness of Glory.

The update delivers plenty of engaging activities: Lament Recon tests your combat skills against Solaris Soldiers, Freeze Frame rewards creative battle photography, while Gifts of Approaching Dawn offers daily login bonuses.
