WoW Patch 11.1: Expanding Content Horizons

WoW Patch 11.1: Undermine and Beyond – Exploring New Subzones

World of Warcraft's upcoming Patch 11.1, "Undermined," introduces the subterranean Goblin capital, Undermine, a sprawling zone filled with towering structures, narrow streets, and inventive contraptions. But the expansion goes beyond Undermine itself, adding several new subzones.

Key additions include Gutterville and Kaja’Coast. Gutterville, situated within the Ringing Deeps, is a corrupted area marked by a distinctive maroon hue. It's highly probable this location houses Excavation Site 9, one of the two new Delves in Patch 11.1, and serves as an access point to Undermine.

Kaja’Coast, a new Goblin encampment in Zuldazar near Bilgewater Bonanza, is another likely entry point to Undermine. This location is strongly suspected to be where the drill-like tram, showcased in the Warcraft Direct announcement, is situated.

New Locations in World of Warcraft Patch 11.1:

  • Undermine: The expansive subterranean Goblin capital.
  • Gutterville: A subzone in the Ringing Deeps' southeastern corner, featuring a corrupted area and Excavation Site 9.
  • Kaja’Coast: A Goblin settlement on Zuldazar's southwestern coast, near Bilgewater Bonanza.

Within Undermine itself, Slam Central Station acts as the primary hub. Its map displays five terminals, suggesting Gutterville and Kaja’Coast are only two of potentially three more locations receiving Goblin-themed additions in this update.

While a firm release date for Patch 11.1 remains unannounced, current projections indicate a mid-to-late February launch. However, the Public Test Realm (PTR) access is slated for early January, offering players a sneak peek at these exciting new areas in the coming weeks.
