World of Warcraft Reveals First New Warbands Campsites

World of Warcraft Patch 11.1 introduces customizable character selection screens with collectible campsites! Four new campsites debut in this patch, with more promised in future updates.

Key Features:

• New Campsite Backgrounds: Four unique campsites offer personalized character select screen backgrounds.
• Unlock Methods Vary: Each campsite unlocks through different means, from simple logins to completing challenging meta-achievements.
• Collections Management: A dedicated Collections pane allows previewing and tracking campsite unlocks. Campsite selection is streamlined on the character select screen itself.

The Four New Campsites:

The original "Adventurer's Rest" is joined by:

• Ohn'ahran Overlook: A centaur camp in the Ohn'ahran Plains. Unlocked automatically after logging in with Patch 11.1.
• Freywold Spring: A hot spring in Freywold Village, Isle of Dorn. Unlocked by completing the "All That Khaz" meta-achievement from The War Within.
• Cultists' Quay: Located in the Nightfall Sanctum Delve in Hallowfall. Earned through the Season 2 Delver's Journey.
• Gallagio Grand Gallery: Gallywix's casino in Undermine. Unlocked by completing the "Racing to a Revolution" meta-achievement from Undermined.

These campsites, and their unlock methods, are detailed within a new Collections tab. Players can easily preview and unlock them there. The character select screen features a dedicated campsite tab for easy selection, even offering a random selection option from favorites.

This expansion on the Warbands system (introduced in World of Warcraft: The War Within) shows Blizzard's commitment to ongoing character screen personalization. Future updates promise even more campsites, potentially sourced from various activities including new content, old zones, holiday events, the Trading Post, and even the in-game store.
