"Unlocking Shroodle in Pokemon GO: A Guide"
The new year for *Pokemon GO* has been bustling with exciting new Pokemon for trainers to catch. After nabbing Fidough, the next Pokemon on the radar is Shroodle. However, snagging this new addition isn't as simple as finding it roaming in the wild.
When Did Shroodle Come to Pokemon GO?
Shroodle, the Toxic Mouse Pokemon, made its debut in *Pokemon GO* on January 15, 2025, during the Fashion Week: Taken Over event. Originally introduced in *Pokemon Scarlet & Violet*, Shroodle is a fresh face in the Pokemon universe. Post its debut event, Shroodle will remain available for players to collect.
Can Shroodle Be Shiny?
Unfortunately, at its initial release, Shroodle cannot be encountered in its Shiny form in *Pokemon GO*. Its Shiny variant is expected to be introduced in a future event, possibly one focused on Poison-type Pokemon or linked to Team GO Rocket activities.

How To Get Shroodle in Pokemon GO

Recent trends show that new Pokemon like Shroodle aren't immediately available as wild spawns. To add Shroodle to your collection, you'll need to hatch it from 12KM eggs. Starting from 12 AM local time on January 15, 2025, any 12KM eggs you collect could hatch into Shroodle. It's expected to be more common during the Fashion Week: Taken Over event, but it will remain part of the 12KM egg pool afterward.
How To Get 12K Eggs
Given that Shroodle can only be obtained from 12KM eggs, it's helpful to know how to acquire these. 12KM eggs are among the rarest in *Pokemon GO*, and there's only one way to get them: by defeating one of the Team GO Rocket Leaders or Giovanni in battle. The Taken Over event is a perfect opportunity to stock up on these eggs, as Team GO Rocket will be more active, and Rocket Radars will be more accessible. You can challenge GO Rocket Grunts at any time to battle Sierra, Arlo, and Cliff, and if you have the space, you'll earn a 12K egg.
How To Get Grafaiai in Pokemon GO

Shroodle's evolution, Grafaiai, also debuted in *Pokemon GO* on January 15, 2025. Unlike Shroodle, Grafaiai doesn't hatch from eggs or appear in the wild. The only way to obtain Grafaiai is by evolving a Shroodle, which requires 50 Shroodle Candies. To gather these, you'll need to hatch multiple Shroodle or set one as your buddy to collect the necessary candies for evolving into Grafaiai.
*Pokemon GO is available to play now*.
