Last month, Genshin Impact introduced a significant update featuring the Pyro Archon and a banner with Mawuika, which captured the attention of many players. The financial impact was substantial, as miHoYo's (HoYoverse) flagship game saw its revenue soar to $99.4 million, effectively doubling its earnings from the previous month's $45.6 million in December 2024.

In the rankings, Pokémon TCG secured the second spot with $64 million in revenue, followed closely by the popular "female gacha" game Love and Deepspace, which earned $55.2 million, rounding out the top three.
Honkai Star Rail experienced a slight dip in earnings, reporting $50.8 million for the month. Meanwhile, Zenless Zone Zero faced a significant decline, with its revenue halving from $57.9 million in December to $26.3 million in January.
It's important to note that these rankings exclusively reflect earnings from mobile platforms. Some of these games, such as those from miHoYo, are also available on PC. Additionally, a key detail in the calculation method is worth mentioning: "Since Google Play does not operate in China, the estimates for Android data in China are calculated using a multiplier based on iOS revenue in the country."
