The popular digital board game, Ticket to Ride, is expanding its routes with the new Switzerland expansion! This exciting addition introduces country-to-country and city-to-country connections, opening up strategic gameplay possibilities across Switzerland and its neighboring nations. Build your railroad empire across a wider landscape, demanding new strategic thinking.

The expansion also includes two new playable characters and four new train tokens, making it a perfect holiday gift for Ticket to Ride enthusiasts. Developer Marmalade aimed to deliver a festive update that not only adds new locations but also introduces fresh mechanics. These country-to-country and city-to-country tickets offer diverse routes and point values, encouraging dynamic gameplay for both seasoned players and newcomers.

Country-to-country tickets challenge you to link specific countries, presenting multiple choices for connection (e.g., France to Germany, Italy, or Austria). Each connection offers a different point reward. City-to-country tickets work similarly, but connect a city to a country. Strategic planning is key, considering the limited number of nodes in each country. Successful connections earn points based on the highest-scoring route, while failed connections incur penalties based on the ticket's lowest value.
