Let's dive in!

News

Partner/Indie World Showcase: A Treasure Trove of Games

Nintendo's decision to present two smaller showcases proved a smart move, delivering a flurry of announcements. Highlights include several surprise releases (detailed below), Capcom Fighting Collection 2, the Suikoden I & II remakes, Yakuza Kiwami, Tetris Forever, MySims, Worms Armageddon: Anniversary Edition, new entries in the Atelier and Rune Factory franchises, and much more. I highly recommend watching the full video—it's well worth your time!

Select New Releases

Castlevania Dominus Collection ($24.99)

A fantastic surprise! This third Castlevania collection features the three Nintendo DS titles: Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin, and Order of Ecclesia. It also includes the notoriously difficult arcade game, Haunted Castle, along with an M2-developed remake that significantly improves upon the original. M2's expertise shines through; this is a superb collection offering excellent emulation and a wealth of features. An incredible value for the price.

Pizza Tower ($19.99)

This Wario Land-inspired platformer is a standout surprise release. Players race through five massive floors of the Pizza Tower to destroy it and save their restaurant. Fans of Wario's handheld adventures will love this, but even those without strong Wario feelings should give it a try if they enjoy fast-paced platformers. A review is planned.

Goat Simulator 3 ($29.99)

Another surprise Wednesday release! For those unfamiliar, Goat Simulator is known for its chaotic gameplay. While performance on the Switch remains to be seen (other platforms have experienced some issues), its inherently absurd nature might even complement any potential performance hiccups. Expect silly goats, silly antics, and an open world—your Switch might just survive!

Peglin ($19.99)

While it's easy to speculate about missed opportunities, Electronic Arts' failure to bring PopCap games to Switch is a missed chance. Peglin, however, scratches that Peggle itch perfectly. Previously available on mobile, this turn-based RPG roguelite, blending Peggle mechanics with roguelite elements, is a must-have for fans. A review is forthcoming.

Doraemon Dorayaki Shop Story ($20.00)

Kairosoft adds a popular license to their familiar shop simulation formula. Doraemon Dorayaki Shop Story features characters from the beloved Doraemon franchise, even including cameos from the creator's other works. A charming and well-executed licensed title.

Pico Park 2 ($8.99)

More Pico Park for fans! Supporting up to eight players via local or online multiplayer, this cooperative puzzle game emphasizes teamwork. While not drastically different from the first, it's a solid addition for existing fans.

Kamitsubaki City Ensemble ($3.99)

An affordable rhythm game featuring Kamitsubaki Studio music. Simple, fun, and priced to move.

SokoPenguin ($4.99)

A classic Sokoban-style puzzler with a penguin twist. One hundred levels of crate-pushing fun.

Q2 Humanity ($6.80)

Over three hundred quirky physics-based puzzles. Players use character abilities and drawing mechanics to solve problems. Local and online multiplayer for up to four players.
