All Secret Lost Galaxy Portal Locations in Astro Bot
In *Astro Bot*, players can explore a multitude of worlds, but there's a special treat for those who seek adventure beyond the ordinary: the Lost Galaxy. This secret realm contains ten unique worlds, each accessible through hidden portals scattered across ten different stages. Here’s your ultimate guide to uncovering these mystical gateways to the Lost Galaxy.
Where Are the Portal Locations to the Lost Galaxy in Astro Bot?
As you navigate through *Astro Bot*, keep an eye out for stages marked with a distinctive swirly icon. This icon signals the presence of a hidden portal to the Lost Galaxy within that stage. These portals can be tucked away early in a level or hidden right at the end, so thorough exploration is key. Let's dive into the specifics of each portal location to ensure you don't miss any of these secret gateways.
Hidden Portal #1: Az-Tech Trail
Midway through the level, you'll encounter a dark room with a wall encircled by four lit torches. Equip the Twin-Frog Gloves to extinguish the flames, which will cause the wall to open, revealing the portal to the Lost Galaxy.
Hidden Portal #2: Creamy Canyon
Early in the level, you'll come across a snowy area with a bouncing ladybug enemy. Move past it to find a charging pig. After grabbing the pig as it charges at you, swing it towards an icy statue at the platform's edge. Once the statue is destroyed, backtrack, flip the ladybug, and use it to bounce up to a platform where a charged spin attack will lead you to the secret portal.
Hidden Portal #3: Go-Go Archipelago
After defeating Captain Pincher, turn around to locate his claw embedded in the ground. A glowing light nearby indicates where to perform a charged spin attack. Drilling into the ground here will unveil a hidden room complete with treasure and the secret portal.
Hidden Portal #4: Downsize Surprise
Towards the level's end, you'll encounter a bubble-blowing frog. Blow into your controller to activate the frog's bubble-blowing. Shrink down and ride a bubble to reach a branch above the bot. From there, navigate to the opposite branch to find the secret portal.
Hidden Portal #5: Free Big Brother!
This portal is one of the easiest to spot in Astro Bot. Right at the level's start, turn around to see a few platforms with an electric enemy. Swim over to it and lure it into electrocuting the platforms, which will open the wall behind it, revealing the hidden portal.
Hidden Portal #6: Bathhouse Battle
Mid-level, locate a house with a flaming chimney. After absorbing water, ascend to the roof and douse the flames. Then, descend the chimney to enter a room housing the secret portal.
Hidden Portal #7: Hieiroglitch Pyramid
At the very end of the level, turn right to find an area with continuously falling jewels. Use the bounce pad to access a hidden area. Before reaching the portal, you'll trigger a trap. Locate and activate the hidden switches in the two walls to open the path to the portal.
Hidden Portal #8: Balloon Breeze
This portal is the trickiest to find. Acquire the puffer-fish power-up and backtrack to an area near the level's start with a distant platform and a bouncing ladybug. Flip the ladybug and use it to bounce towards the platform. Activate the puffer-fish power-up and hover to reach the platform. Use motion controls to cut down surrounding bamboo to reveal the portal, which you must then activate by running around its perimeter.
Hidden Portal #9: Djinny of the Lamp
Post-Djinny defeat, climb the ruins. The glowing ground indicates invisible platforms. Hover over these platforms, identifiable by glowing concrete slabs, to reach an elevated platform. Unroll a rug to ride to another elevated area containing the secret portal.
Hidden Portal #10: Frozen Meal
Before engaging the boss, roll a snowball into a massive ball. Use this as a platform to access an area along the cliff, where you'll find the final secret portal in Astro Bot.
