CCP Games has revealed that EVE Galaxy Conquest, a mobile 4X strategy game based on the popular EVE Online franchise, will launch globally on October 29th for iOS and Android devices. A new cinematic trailer accompanies the announcement, showcasing a dramatic pirate attack that led to the fall of great Empires and the activation of the Valhalla system, resurrecting legendary Commanders. While the specifics might elude newcomers to the EVE universe, the trailer certainly sets a thrilling tone.

The game tasks players with defending New Eden against these threats. Players begin by selecting an Empire, influencing the types of ships available for their fleet. Cooperation with other players is encouraged, given the vast scale of the game world.
