Project ETHOS Playtest: October 17th - 21st

Project ETHOS reimagines the hero shooter genre. The developers aim to seamlessly integrate the dynamic adaptation of roguelikes with distinct hero abilities and fast-paced third-person action. Gameplay features randomized "Evolutions" that dramatically alter hero capabilities, forcing players to strategize on the fly and adapt their playstyle. Transform your sniper into a close-quarters combatant or turn a support character into a solo powerhouse – the possibilities are endless!

Two core game modes await:

• Trials: This signature mode challenges teams of three in matches against both AI and human opponents. Collect cores, strategically choose when to extract, and invest them to unlock upgrades and enhance your hero. Death means losing your cores, adding a high-stakes element to each run. Join ongoing matches or wait for a new one – the match timer is displayed before queuing.

• Gauntlet: A classic competitive PvP tournament mode. Fight your way through brackets, upgrading your hero with each victory. Elimination means waiting for the next round.

How to Join the Playtest

The Project ETHOS community playtest, running October 17th-21st, is currently limited to players in the US, Canada, Mexico, UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Spain, and Italy. Earn access by watching participating Twitch streams for 30 minutes to receive a playtest key. Alternatively, register on the official website for future playtest opportunities. Server maintenance will occur; check the official channels for schedules.
