"Pokémon Go Offers $100 Premium Pass"
Pokémon Go has announced a new $100 Premier Access ticket upgrade for its upcoming Go Fest: Jersey City event, offering exclusive in-game items and premium real-world amenities—including "enhanced restroom facilities."
Go Fest, the game's flagship summer gathering, will take place this year at Liberty State Park in Jersey City, alongside parallel events in Paris and Osaka.
Niantic revealed that Jersey City attendees can now upgrade their standard ticket with the $100 Premier Access package, which unlocks numerous benefits.
A VIP Experience Awaits
The Premier Access operates similarly to a business-class travel package, granting ticket holders entry to an exclusive lounge area featuring upgraded restroom facilities, charging stations with lockers, and relaxation zones—though specific details about restroom enhancements remain undisclosed.
Purchasers will also enjoy priority access to the event's Pokémon Center Pop-Up Store, allowing them to bypass queues when purchasing official merchandise—a valuable perk given the store's notorious wait times that typically cut into precious gameplay hours.

Premium In-Game Rewards
The upgrade's most compelling feature may be its substantial collection of in-game items:
- 100 Poké Balls/Great Balls/Ultra Balls each
- 50 Silver Pinap Berries
- 100 Super Incubators
- 10 Lucky Eggs/Incense/Star Pieces
- Various Lure Modules (10 each)
- 100 Premium Battle Passes
- 20 Max Particle Packs
- 5 Max Mushrooms
Additionally, Premier Access includes an exclusive enamel pin badge. The total value of these digital items would easily exceed $300 if purchased separately.
Mixed Community Reception
The announcement has sparked debate within the Pokémon Go community. While some players appreciate the bundled item value and premium amenities, others criticize the costly upgrade—particularly as Niantic continues expanding monetization options.
Pokémon Go Fest 2025 events run May 29-30 in Osaka, June 6-7 in Jersey City, and June 13-14 in Paris. This year's festivities will highlight the debut of Legendary Pokémon Volcanion and wider availability of the Mexico-exclusive Hawlucha.
