Pokémon Go Launches Wayfarer Challenge in Chile and India

Niantic has recently kicked off an exciting Wayfarer Challenge in Pokémon Go, inviting trainers in Chile and India to actively shape their local gaming environment while reaping exclusive rewards. From March 7th to 9th in Chile and March 10th to 12th in India, you can dive into this event by reviewing and approving Wayspot nominations on the Niantic Wayfarer platform. This not only helps in adding new PokéStops and Gyms to Pokémon Go but also propels you toward achieving special milestone rewards.

Participating in the event is straightforward yet engaging. You'll nominate real-world locations like landmarks, sculptures, and street art to transform them into PokéStops and Gyms. Each review you contribute brings the community closer to collective milestones. If 5,000 nominations are resolved, everyone involved will receive a bounty of 20 Ultra Balls, a Star Piece, an Incense, and a Poffin. Push the bar further to 10,000 approvals, and the rewards get even sweeter: 25 Ultra Balls, two Star Pieces, two Incense, two Poffins, and a Lucky Egg.

To join in on the fun, you must be at least level 37 in Pokémon Go and possess a Niantic Wayfarer account. New to the platform? No worries, just complete the Wayfarer Orientation to start reviewing nominations. Additionally, you'll need to have recently played in Chile or India or set your Wayfarer Hometown or Bonus Location to these countries. Remember, to snag those rewards, you need to review at least 50 nominations, and at least one milestone must be achieved.

Concurrently, the PokéStop Challenge event will run from March 9th to 12th, exclusively in Chile and India. As you venture out to explore newly added PokéStops, you'll earn 3x XP for your first visits, 3x Stardust from opening Gifts, and enjoy increased Kecleon spawns. Event Field Research will offer encounters with Eevee, while Timed Research tasks provide a chance to catch other Pokémon.
