Witch Ascendancy Classes in PoE2
Infernalist
The Infernalist stands out as one of the top Witch classes in the game! With a powerful arsenal of fire spells at their disposal, Infernalists can truly dominate the battlefield. If you're fond of summoning minions, you'll love the Infernalist's new skill, which calls forth the Infernal Hound from the underworld to assist you in combat.
Ever dreamed of transforming into a fearsome creature from hell? The Infernalist makes this dream a reality. By taking on a demonic form, the Witch boosts her attack damage and mobility, though at the cost of quicker health loss. To mitigate this, the Loyal Hellhound skill becomes crucial. Another key ability, Beidat's Will, ties your Spirit to your maximum HP, encouraging you to invest in both HP and Strength. In return, you can command an impressive army of the undead!

Blood Mage
Though not as popular or balanced as the Infernalist, the Blood Mage offers an incredibly engaging gameplay experience. Playing as a Blood Mage means treading a delicate line between life and death, thanks to the unique mechanic of Sanguimancy. Instead of using MP, your character consumes HP, making reckless play a risky proposition.
To counteract the HP drain, skills like Vitality Siphon and Life Remnants are essential for draining health from your enemies. Sunder the Flesh enhances your critical hit chance, which is vital for triggering buffs, while Gore Spike increases the damage of these critical strikes.

Sorcerer Ascendancy Classes in PoE2
Stormweaver
Stormweavers are Sorcerers who unleash massive elemental damage, often with high critical hit chances, thanks to Tempest Caller. A key part of their gameplay involves inflicting status ailments on enemies, which is facilitated by the passive skill Strike Twice. With the new Spirit Gems mechanic, Stormweavers can amplify the damage of their elemental attacks against groups affected by negative effects.
Constant Gale and Force of Will enhance spell casting speed and MP regeneration, which are crucial for a magic-intensive playstyle. The unique Heart of the Storm node boosts survivability by converting part of your Elemental Damage into an Energy Shield—ensure your character can handle multiple attacks!

Chronomancer
The Chronomancer is a novel class not found in the original Path of Exile, offering a fresh and innovative approach to combat through time manipulation. Exclusive spells like Temporal Rift and Time Freeze open up new possibilities for combos and experimentation.
Although not the strongest Sorcerer Ascendancy currently, the Chronomancer holds significant potential. With skills like Now and Again, which offers a chance to avoid cooldowns, Apex of the Moment, which slows down nearby monsters, and Quicksand Hourglass, which increases the speed of magic creation, the Chronomancer brings a unique twist to the game.

Warrior Ascendancy Classes in PoE2
Warbringer
The Warbringer combines war cries with totem summons to engage in intense close combat, aiming to maximize melee damage. This tactic is particularly effective against bosses, as totems can distract enemies and absorb damage meant for you.
Enhance your armor penetration with Imploding Impacts and Anvil’s Weight to significantly boost your build's effectiveness. Warcaller’s Bellow causes enemy corpses to explode when you use a Warcry, and Greatwolf’s Howl removes the cooldown on Warcries. If you prefer a more defensive approach, Renly’s Training and Turtle Charm will enhance your shield and blocking capabilities.

Titan
If you prefer a more controlled, less risky approach to combat, the Titan path is ideal. With powerful yet slow attacks, Titans paralyze enemies, forcing them to break through thick armor before dealing damage. Stone Skin increases the defensive power of your gear by 50%, while Mysterious Lineage boosts your max HP by 15%, enhancing your survivability.
But Titans aren't just defensive powerhouses; they can deal significant damage too. Unlike the Warbringer, Titans possess unique offensive abilities like Earthbreaker and Ancestral Empowerment, which strengthen Slam abilities. Additionally, Surprising Strength increases damage against stunned enemies by 40%.

Monk Ascendancy Classes in PoE2
Invoker
The Invoker enables Monks to harness elemental power, granting access to powerful abilities and status-enhancing effects. This melee-focused class utilizes elemental damage and status effects to annihilate enemies and trigger potent effects. The ability to use Power Charges to enhance skills adds another layer of strategic depth to this class.

Acolyte of Chayula
This Monk has embraced the Darkness and gained dominion over dark forces bestowed by Chayula. The Embrace the Darkness skill allows you to forgo the Spirit resource entirely, increasing the maximum Darkness to 100 and granting exceptional survivability.
To further bolster your defenses, use Consuming Questions in combination with Mana Leech. However, be cautious, as this setup removes the Energy Shield’s cooldown entirely, making it reliant solely on MP drain, which is not yet efficient enough as of version 0.1.1. Until this drawback is addressed, the Acolyte of Chayula remains less effective than the Invoker.

Mercenary Ascendancy Classes in PoE2
Witchhunter
The Witchhunter is one of the strongest classes in the current version of the game, excelling in hunting and swiftly eliminating demons and the undead. With increased damage on both the first and last hits, the Witchhunter efficiently clears areas of weaker enemies. Against bosses, passive skills like Pitiless Killer, Damage vs Low Life Enemies, and Judge, Jury, and Executioner can be crucial for securing victory.
Witchbane and No Mercy enable a playstyle focused on reducing enemy concentration (affecting their skill activation speed) and dealing increased damage. The Witchhunter’s deep-seated hatred for demons and the undead is reflected in the Zealous Inquisition node, which has a 10% chance to make slain enemies explode, damaging their living allies.

Gemling Legionnaire
The Gemling Legionnaire is a unique class whose gameplay revolves around gems, focusing not only on their stats and quality but also their color. For example, Thaumaturgical Infusion increases the character’s resistances based on the number of equipped stones of a particular color. Meanwhile, Crystalline Potential and Implanted Gems enhance the level of all skills.
Advanced Thaumaturgy not only reduces skill costs but also lowers attribute requirements, similar to Adaptive Capability. A particularly interesting gameplay-changing node is Integrated Efficiency, which expands the arsenal of active skills by three additional slots. Gem Studded is also highly useful, allowing the use of two identical Support stones, opening up vast potential for experimentation and powerful builds.

Ranger Ascendancy Classes in PoE2
Deadeye
This Ascendancy is perfect for players who favor ranged combat. Unique passive skills increase effective attack range and enhance damage output. Endless Munitions allows you to fire one additional projectile per skill use, which is incredibly useful for clearing entire screens of enemies.
This path is an excellent choice for those who prefer the classic bow over the modern crossbow and plan to focus on elemental damage. Increased movement speed, extra projectiles, and an additional Mark will prove invaluable.

Pathfinder
If green is your favorite color, then the Pathfinder is the perfect choice for you. As a master of poisoning, this class constantly drains enemies’ health bars with double effectiveness. The passive skill Overwhelming Toxicity doubles the amount of Poison applied to enemies but shortens the debuff duration.
Be careful! One of this class’s signature weapons is the gas grenade, which, when combined with high movement speed and slow resistance, allows you to quickly and efficiently blanket the battlefield in toxic mist. If you enjoy poison mechanics and unique gameplay, this path is definitely for you!

Remember, we’ve only covered twelve of the planned thirty-six Ascendancy Classes. As Path of Exile 2 continues in early access, these are all the currently available specialization paths for your characters. More will be added over time! Additionally, future game updates may introduce changes to passive skills, so the details in this guide may differ from the final version.
