Path of Exile 2: How to Get Loot Filters on Console
Quick Links
Path of Exile 2 loot filters significantly enhance gameplay, particularly in the later stages when item drops become abundant. They declutter the screen, highlighting valuable items for easier looting. While console players might find manual item selection cumbersome, loot filters offer a streamlined solution, mirroring the PC experience. This guide simplifies the process of setting up and using filters on PlayStation and Xbox.
How to Link Path of Exile 2 and Console Accounts
To utilize loot filters on Path of Exile 2 consoles, linking your console account to your Path of Exile account is essential. This is managed through the Path of Exile 1 website:
- Access the Path of Exile website and log in.
- Locate your account name (top-left).
- Select "Manage Account" (right-side, below your profile).
- Under "Secondary Login," click "Connect" for either PlayStation or Xbox.
Follow the on-screen prompts to link your console account.
Finding and Using Loot Filters
After linking accounts, return to your website profile and click the "Item Filters" button. Click the "Item Filter Ladder" hyperlink. This opens a new tab displaying available filters.
Select "PoE 2" from the drop-down menu. Choose a filter (NeverSink's semi-strict or regular filters are recommended for new players) and click "Follow."
With the filter followed, launch the game. Navigate to the Options menu, then the Game tab. Select the followed filter from the "Item Filter" drop-down menu and save your changes. Your in-game item drops will now be categorized by the filter's settings, using distinct labels, colors, or sounds.
