WHAT IS STENCILETTO?

Stenciletto is a series of progressive brain exercises using simple geometric shapes. Designed to develop and sharpen visual & spatial skills, it's accessible to everyone—players only need to recognize basic shapes and understand the concept of a stencil.

Solving each puzzle demands a blend of critical thinking skills: visual & spatial perception, logical reasoning, planning, and problem-solving, all at once. It appears simple but offers a genuine cognitive challenge. Your task is to tap geometric stencils in the right sequence to recreate a target pattern. It's much tougher than it seems and will definitely give your brain a workout!

Developed over a decade by an experienced teacher with input from children, teens, adults, and individuals with learning disabilities or brain injuries, the game has proven rewarding and motivating for all.

Our latest update introduces Education Mode, making Stenciletto classroom-ready. A single purchase unlocks all relevant content, with controls for content access, internet, Game Center, and sharing. Eligible for Family Sharing, it's also a perfect tool for home educators.

HISTORY OF THE GAME

Originally known as the Stencil Design IQ Test, the game was created by early 20th-century psychologist Grace Arthur Ph.D. She recognized nonverbal skills as a core component of intelligence. Arthur found it suitable for children as young as seven, as well as her academic peers. While testing Native American and deaf children who struggled with verbal IQ tests due to limited formal schooling, she used this activity to demonstrate their IQ was on par with that of educated Americans.

WHAT'S IN THE GAME?

Two distinct game types are included. Classic Games use Grace Arthur’s original geometric stencils (squares, circles, triangles, crosses) familiar to most. Our new World Games serve as advanced extension exercises for those with strong perception and logic seeking a greater challenge.

Stenciletto features over 600 carefully graded puzzles. Each level offers a free sample set, providing 60 puzzles to try at no cost.

Each full game pack includes 15 puzzles. Completing a Classic Game rewards players with an animated Smiley character. Based on famous figures from history and mythology, these represent diverse cultures and offer a fun way to track progress and achievements.

Choose from several play modes:-

• Mortal Mode is the default, where you purchase lives or wait for regeneration. It's timed, scored, and features Mortal leaderboards.

• Immortal Mode provides free lives indefinitely—simply top up your life bank as needed. It's timed, scored, and features Immortal leaderboards.

• Mindful Mode has no timer or scoring, letting you relax and solve puzzles at your own pace.

• Education Mode unlocks both Immortal and Mindful Modes, allowing you to choose either (Mortal Mode can be disabled).
