Among these materials, Machine Arms stand out as particularly elusive. Despite their name suggesting abundance, these items are scarce, especially early in the game, and may require some strategic farming to obtain.

Where To Farm Machine Arms In NieR: Automata

Machine Arms can drop from any small machine you destroy, though the drop rate is influenced by the enemy's level. At the beginning of the game, these drops are extremely rare, so early acquisition will demand a higher volume of kills.

A prime spot for farming becomes available after Chapter 4, following your first encounter with Adam. Head to the Desert: Housing Complex via fast travel, and venture deeper into the ruins to reach the pit where you fought Adam.
