Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater retains the suggestive and sexual content present in the original Metal Gear Solid 3, including the controversial Peep Demo Theatre, as confirmed by an age rating from the ESRB.

While developer Konami has not officially acknowledged the inclusion of these elements, the U.S. classification board, the ESRB, has assigned the game a Mature 17+ rating. This rating is due to the game's realistic depiction of gunfire, cries of pain, bloody combat, and "suggestive/sexual content."

The ESRB's detailed description of the game highlights its intense combat and violence, noting scenes such as a restrained character being beaten and electrocuted, a character shot in the eye, and another set on fire and shot multiple times.

PlayMoreover, the ESRB report includes instances of suggestive and sexual content, such as a man groping a woman's breasts, close-up camera angles focusing on deep cleavage, a character briefly groping a man's crotch, and the Peep Demo Theatre. This feature, found in the Subsistence and HD Collection versions of the original game, allows players to view cutscenes of a female character, Eva, in her underwear from a first-person perspective. It becomes available after completing the game four times.

Konami has announced that Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will launch on August 28, accompanied by a new teaser trailer that also confirms the return of the Snake vs. Monkey minigame.

In our Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater preview, IGN described the game as more of a "shiny HD remaster" than a comprehensive remake, noting its beauty and nostalgia but also its faithfulness to the original. The original Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater received an impressive 9.6 rating from IGN, reflecting its high quality and enduring appeal.
